Terms of Service

Terms governing use of this website and the framework for engaging Your Legal Help for legal services in Singapore.

Legal agreement documents reviewed under terms of service

Last updated: 29 August 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your access to yourlegalhelp.pro (the “Site”) operated by Your Legal Help from 151 Chin Swee Road, #09-04 Manhattan House, Singapore 169876 (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. Separate written terms apply when you formally instruct us as a client.

1. About our services

Your Legal Help provides legal guidance, advisory services, and representation in criminal, civil, and commercial matters in Singapore. Content on the Site — including case insights and practice area descriptions — is general information. It does not constitute legal advice for your specific situation and does not create a solicitor-client relationship until we confirm acceptance of your instruction in writing or commence work with your agreement.

2. No guarantee of outcomes

Legal outcomes depend on facts, evidence, judicial discretion, and procedural developments we cannot control. We do not guarantee particular results, timelines, charge reductions, acquittals, damages awards, or settlement amounts. Any historical examples or procedural descriptions on the Site illustrate how courts may approach issues; they are not predictions about your matter.

3. Enquiries and consultations

Submitting the contact form or emailing us initiates an enquiry, not automatic representation. We assess conflicts of interest before accepting instructions. Consultation fees and scope are agreed before substantive work, as described on our Consultation page. You are responsible for providing accurate information; incomplete or misleading instructions may affect our ability to advise.

4. Acceptable use of the Site

You agree not to:

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these rules are violated or where required to protect security.

5. Intellectual property

Text, layout, branding, and original case insight articles on the Site are owned by Your Legal Help or used under licence. You may print or download pages for personal reference. Reproduction for commercial training products, competing websites, or automated datasets requires our prior written consent. Statutory references and public legal principles are not proprietary to us.

6. Third-party services

The Site may link to Google Maps and Google Fonts. Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, content, or data practices beyond what we describe in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement regarding Site content and uninterrupted access. We aim to keep information accurate and current but do not warrant that all content is complete or free from error at every moment.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Singapore law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Site — including loss of profit, data, or goodwill — where you have not become a paying client under a separate engagement letter. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.

If you rely on Site content without obtaining formal advice, you do so at your own risk. Our liability for professional services provided under a client engagement is governed by the terms of that engagement and applicable professional rules.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Site, breach of these Terms, or submission of unlawful material through our enquiry form — except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

10. Confidentiality

Information you send before we confirm representation may not be protected as client-confidential in all jurisdictions or circumstances. Avoid sending highly sensitive details until we confirm we can act and explain how privilege applies. Once engaged, confidentiality obligations under professional rules apply in addition to these Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes relating to the Site or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.

12. Changes

We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version on the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above.

14. Professional regulation

Legal practitioners in Singapore are subject to professional conduct rules administered by the Legal Services Regulatory Authority and the Law Society of Singapore. Those rules may impose duties that override conflicting provisions in website terms — for example, obligations to maintain client confidentiality or to decline instructions where a conflict exists. Nothing in these Terms diminishes those professional duties.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the parties’ original intent.

16. Entire agreement for website use

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy linked from the Site footer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Your Legal Help regarding use of the Site. They supersede prior oral or written understandings about browsing or submitting enquiries through yourlegalhelp.pro. Client engagements remain governed by separate engagement letters that prevail over these Terms where they conflict in relation to legal services performed.

17. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights or obligations in connection with a reorganisation, merger, or sale of the practice, provided that the assignee agrees to honour confidentiality and data protection commitments consistent with this Site’s policies.

18. Language

These Terms are written in English. Translations may be provided for convenience only. If a translated version conflicts with the English text, the English version governs to the extent permitted by law.

19. Survival

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination of your use of the Site — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law, intellectual property restrictions, and indemnity — remain in effect after you stop using the Site or after a client matter concludes, for as long as necessary to give them proper effect.

20. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it on a later occasion. Any waiver of a breach must be in writing signed by an authorised representative of Your Legal Help to be effective.
